Stemming from the unprecedented success of the 2025 edition of this iconic race, the Great UP Run is back bigger than ever, at UP Diliman on January 25, 2026. The Great UP Run 2026, in partnership with UP Office for Athletics and Sports Development, is part of RUNRIO’s movement to support the Varsity Teams of the University of the Philippines. Expected to take part are UP Varsity athletes, students and faculty from all campuses, UP Alumni, and family, friends and supporters of the UP Community. Participants for the Great UP Run will engage in a 3K, 5K, and 10K. This will give beginner runners an avenue to try out the easier distance and progress into a longer categories.
