PMC “KABAYANIHAN RUN” 2026 marks the 9th iteration of the Philippine Marine Corps Marathon in commemoration of National Heroes’ Day. It is a Run for a Cause initiative that: Honors our National Heroes; Pays tribute to the heroism and sacrifices of Philippine Marines; and Recognizes modern-day heroes including OFWs, healthcare workers, teachers, community frontliners, parents, breadwinners, workers, and everyday Filipinos who face life’s challenges with courage and resilience. Proceeds of the run will help support: Educational assistance to the college scholars of Philippine Marine Corps Officers’ Spouses Association, Inc. (PMCOSAI) Support the children of fallen and wounded Marines Programs and initiatives of the Philippine Marine Corps Foundation, Inc. (PMCFI) Marines deployed in border islands and key maritime frontiers, including the West Philippine Sea (WPS), in support of strengthening the nation’s sovereign presence and territorial defense.
